Upcoming Game Titles for XBOX 360
The video gaming blockbuster season has begun. In the buildup to Christmas, studios are releasing their most engaging titles. Even with an unlimited budget, finding the time to play all of the exciting games on the horizon will be tough. Here’s a rundown of five tempting possibilities.
Batman: Arkham City will be released on October 18th. It’s the follow up to 2009′s Batman: Arkham Asylum, a game endlessly praised by critics and players. Emmy Award winner Paul Dini pens the story, and Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill return to their classic roles of Joker and Batman. This game will feature Catwoman as a playable character
For those with a kinnect setup, Dance Central 2 is coming on October 25th. This sequel adds simultaneous multiplayer for group dances, and adds more than 40 new songs to the playlist. Many consider the first Dance Central to be the best title available for the kinnect, so this promises to be a great party game.
The end of October and the beginning of November stage two multiplayer shooter icons against each other. Battlefield 3 comes out on October 25th, and is known for its multitude of vehicles and its large matches of up to 24 players. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released November 8th. The direct sequel of Modern Warfare 2, this series is known for quality and has a huge multiplayer following.
For RPG fans, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is coming on November 11th. Previews of this open-world adventure highlight gorgeous graphics and nearly limitless character customizability. Previous Elder Scrolls games have won multiple Game-of-the-Year awards and feature countless hours of exploration.
These five are just a sampling of upcoming titles for the XBOX 360. Not mentioned were: Forza Motorsport 4, Assasin’s Creed Revelations, And Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It’s shaping up to be an expensive few months for gamers.
